Open source
Elixir libraries I maintain, plus contributions across the Ruby and Elixir communities and beyond.
-
Hammer
A rate limiter for Elixir applications, with pluggable backends. Used to protect APIs and background jobs from bursts of traffic.
-
Luhn
Luhn checksum validation and generation for Elixir, used for validating card numbers and similar identifiers.
-
Slackbox
A small library for building Slack slash command integrations with Plug.
-
Geocoder
A rewrite of the Elixir geocoding library, with a cleaner API and support for multiple geocoding providers.
Contributing upstream
Beyond the libraries above, I have contributed to many open source projects in the Ruby and Elixir communities: reporting bugs, sending patches, and taking part in issue and pull request discussions. I also contribute to projects in other languages whenever I run into a problem, fixing it upstream instead of working around it.
